IPL 2021: WATCH- RCB's Glenn Maxwell nailing every ball in the nets

Maxwell will be back in action for RCB in UAE-leg of IPL 2021 beginning from September 19.

Glenn Maxwell | BCCI/IPLThe second half of the 14th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) will be held in UAE after COVID-19 breached the bio-bubbles of different teams when the tournament was being played in India earlier this year.

Since, IPL 2021 was shifted to the middle east like last year, and is just around the corner, all the franchises are getting ready for the UAE-leg of the cash-rich league slated to begin from September 19.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is one of them as they are gearing up for their match up against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on September 20. RCB decided to give a sneak peak of their preparation to their fans and shared a video of Glenn Maxwell smoking it in the nets.

The Australian batsman scored 223 runs in seven matches, with a high score of 78 which included 21 fours and 10 sixes, with two half-centuries. As far as the team is concerned, the Virat Kohli-led side managed to win 5 out of 7 matches they played with 10 points to their name.

The right-hand explosive batsman recently talked about the second-leg of IPL 2021 benefitting Aussies as the upcoming T20 World Cup will also be played in UAE and Oman.

The fact we've got a lot of guys going over for the IPL as a preparation, get a few games in those conditions, it's going to do wonders for our batters. Our bowlers are going to be up and firing by the time the tournament starts.
