IPL 2021: WATCH - Virat Kohli comes out of quarantine; reunites with AB de Villiers

Virat Kohli, Tim David, and Mohammed Siraj completed their mandatory quarantine before joining the squad.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli has come out of mandatory quarantine in UAE. He reunited with his buddy AB de Villiers, Glenn Maxwell, and the rest of the teammates. 

Kohli had joined the franchise with Mohammed Siraj from Manchester after the fifth Test match between India and England was cancelled. Players arriving in the UAE had to undergo a 6-day hard quarantine during which they were tested thrice.

RCB posted a video featuring Kohli on their social media handles. "Bold Diaries: Virat Kohli joins the RCB team after quarantine. There were smiles, hugs, and laughter in the RCB camp as captain Virat Kohli, Mohammed Siraj and some of our foreign players had their first hit in the nets," the video was captioned.

After greeting his teammates, Kohli spent time practicing for the second phase of IPL 2021. Apart from the RCB captain, Tim David and Siraj are also out of the quarantine for the outdoor training.

The franchise will play their first match of the remaining season on September 20 against Kolkata Knight Riders. RCB are currently in a very comfortable position on the points table with 5 wins in 7 matches.
