Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal has his eyes on the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 second phase in UAE. He is confident about RCB's chances for the playoffs due to a good position in the points table after the first phase earlier in May.

Chahal assured that "the old Yuzi is back" and he is pumped up to give his best in the remaining matches of the IPL's 14th edition. RCB have won 5 matches out of the first 7 games and they are at number 3 on the points table.

"Obviously, the feeling was good. The heat was okay, I am happy with the way I bowled. I am pumped up, we are in a good position in the points table and we have a very good chance to stay at the top of the table," he said.

Chahal wasn't in a good form in the first phase of the season and he could only get four wickets. But he is carrying only satisfied feelings about his bowling after spending time in the nets.

"When you bowl well in the nets, you always feel good. I can say that the old Yuzi is back," he added in a video posted by RCB on Twitter.

Bangalore will play their 8th match of the tournament, and first of the second phase, on September 20 against Kolkata Knight Riders. Earlier, the BCCI announced that limited spectators will be allowed into the stadiums for the remainder of the season.
