Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) star batsman AB de Villiers has joined the franchise in United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Monday (September 6). The franchise shared the update on their official Twitter account.
"Our excitement levels just went ???????????? @ABdeVilliers17 has joined the team. ????," wrote RCB on Twitter. The franchise has already kicked off training with the available players in Dubai after the mandatory quarantine.

RCB's Director of Cricket and newly appointed head coach Mike Hesson announced that Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell will also join the squad in a couple of days while New Zealand's Kyle Jamieson will be in UAE on September 10.
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) captain Kane Williamson has joined the squad in UAE. He is currently not part of the New Zealand squad for the tour of Bangladesh and Pakistan. The Kiwi had earlier replaced Australia's David Warner as captain of SRH in the first phase of IPL 2021.
While RCB are currently placed at number 3 on the points table with 10 points in 7 matches, SRH have only 2 points in 7 matches and they are occupying the number 8 spot.
