The 14th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) will resume from September 19 in the UAE after indefinite suspension earlier this year owing to COVID-19 condition across India when the tournament was held in the country.
After the announcement of IPL resumption, all the franchises are regrouping and arranging travel for their players to reach the middle east. Mumbai Indians is one such franchise as the defending champions have touched down in UAE and have begun their outdoor training.
The Mumbai-based franchise recently took to Instagram and shared a small clip of star all-rounder Hardik Pandya stepping out for his first training session in Abu Dhabi after completing his quarantine.

In the video, Pandya talked about how excited he was to be out and start training ahead of the tournament and also recalled the happy memories of this venue when MI played at Abu Dhabi during IPL 2020.
“Day 1 training, bro. Nice weather... Nice cold weather. I had few good games here. It was our home ground, so memories are very good.
I love the atmosphere here when we play and I don't know if we are going to have fans this time. But I think it will be fun. Now, these 18 days is business time, the money shot. I'm looking forward and very excited because in three months I want two cups,” the right-hand explosive batsman said.
