The 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) was indefinitely suspended earlier this year owing to the COVID-19 condition in the country and players and members of support staff testing positive for the deadly virus.
But, since the tournament resuming in UAE in the September-October window, all the franchises are regrouping and traveling to the middle-east for the second leg of IPL 2021.
The three-time champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is one such franchise that has already landed in UAE and after having some training sessions after the isolation period, the CSK team management organized a get-together for its players.

As the players are confined to their team hotel and cannot leave the designated area, owing to the strict protocols and restrictions. They are mostly locked in their respective rooms. Thus, players of this Chennai-based franchise bonded over dinner on Saturday evening (August 28).
The MS Dhoni-led franchise shared a small clip of their get-together. The former India skipper and a legendary wicket-keeper batsman Dhoni was once again the center of attraction and unlike last year CSK allowed families of players to travel with them to UAE.
CSK who finished the first phase of IPL 2021 on the second spot on the points table, will be back in action against the defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) in the opening game of the UAE leg on September 19.
