The 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) which was held in India earlier this year was postponed owing to the COVID-19 situation across the country as well as players and members of support staff testing positive for the virus inside their bio-bubbles.
But, after a lot of planning, BCCI decided to conduct the remainder of the tournament in the UAE in the September-October window ahead of the T20 World Cup 2021 which will also be played in the middle-east.
Thus, as all the franchises are regrouping and traveling to UAE, the three-time champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) contingent has already arrived and after some practice sessions, the MS Dhoni-led franchise took a break on Wednesday (August 25) to recharge themselves.
