Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) pacer, Sandeep Sharma, has tied the marriage knot ahead of the second phase of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. Sandeep’s IPL franchise congratulated the newlyweds and welcomed his wife to the SRH family.

“A special addition to the #SRHFamily. Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Sharma to a lifelong partnership! #OrangeOrNothing #OrangeArmy,” SRH tweeted.

Sandeep joined the SRH squad in the 2018 auction for ₹3 crores and has been with them ever since. A renowned name in the Orange Army, Sandeep has taken 39 wickets for Sunrisers.

Although the first half of IPL 2021 didn't go well for Sandeep as he could only take 1 wicket in 3 matches, the right-arm seamer is a proven performer and will aim for better numbers in the remainder of the cash-rich event.

Sandeep will soon be flying to UAE, along with his teammates to join the SRH squad and kick off with the preparations for the second phase of the tournament. The players will have to complete mandatory 6-day isolation in UAE.

After the April-May phase of the tournament, Sunrisers Hyderabad sit at the last spot on the points table with just 1 win from 7 games. They will have the difficult task of winning every match to qualify for the playoffs.

Kane Williamson will continue to lead the Orange Army in the second half of the competition as well. Ex-skipper David Warner too will be available for the second phase.
