MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) squad has landed in UAE for the second leg of the IPL 2021 which begins on September 19 onwards. CSK will clash with Mumbai Indians (MI) in the first match of the second phase.

The 31 matches of IPL will be held across the three emirates of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah from September 19 to October 15.

CSK shared a picture of Dhoni, the iconic CSK captain, in which the multiple World Cup-winning India skipper can be seen with wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva with the post captioned, “Mahi Way.”

CSK also shared another post with multiple photos of CSK players reaching UAE with all of them wearing masks and PPE kits and donning the CSK Yellow.

The IPL is set to return there after about 10 months, as BCCI decided to move the tournament to UAE which hosted the IPL 2020 successfully during the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Gulfnews also reported that though the previous edition was held behind closed doors, it seems like the decks appear to have been cleared to allow a percentage of fans at the venues following the easing of some of the regulations by the tourism department of Dubai.
