Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batting coach Michael Hussey has recovered from COVID-19. He is expected to fly back home on Sunday (May 16) and will undergo quarantine there.
"Hussey has returned with negative RT-PCR results and has recovered well. We haven't yet decided when he is going to fly back and which route he will take — Maldives or Australia," CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan told PTI on Friday (May 14).
Except for Hussey, the Australian contingent, comprising players, coaches, and commentators, flew to the Maldives after the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) suspension due to the travel ban in their country.

India and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) wicket-keeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha has again tested positive and he will remain in isolation. He is also named in India's Test squad for United Kingdom (UK) tour but his availability depends on fitness clearance.
Saha will be eyeing to join the Team India squad bio-bubble in Mumbai on 25 May. The team will be undergoing quarantine in India before flying to the UK.
The 36-year-old will continue to be in quarantine after one of his two tests came positive. "My quarantine period is still not over. Out of the two tests done, one was negative and other one came as positive.
"Otherwise, I am doing much better. Requesting everyone not to spread misleading stories/information without whole context," his statement read on Twitter.
