Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) spinner Rashid Khan backed BCCI’s decision to postpone IPL 2021 and wished for a safe return for all players who participated in the tournament.

COVID-19 outbreak in bio-bubble forced BCCI to postpone IPL 14 season with immediate effect. Several players along with support staff tested positive for deadly virus resulted in the suspension of the cash-rich league after 29 games.

With IPL postponed, one of the major challenges for BCCI was to ensure that all players reach their home safely. The governing body, however, asserted that they would find a way to send back the foreign players struck in India.
