Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) has been suspended indefinitely after COVID-19 breached the bio-secure bubble of IPL franchises. The announcement was made on May 4 with 31 matches more to be played.
Before the suspension of the tournament, Delhi Capitals (DC) were on top of the table, followed by Chennai Super Kings (CSK), and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). While DC won 6 out of 8 matches, CSK and RCB won 5 games each in 7 outings.
RCB fans were hopeful of a good finish this season but unfortunately, COVID-19 spoiled their good start to the tournament. Twitterati joked about the suspension of the tournament when Bangalore were looking better than their previous season outings.

Even Glenn Maxwell, who was a flop last season, performed for RCB this year and played a few crucial knocks. They had won all their four matches at Chepauk before moving to Wankhede Stadium.
But with IPL 2021 suspension they would need to regroup again and start afresh despite 5 wins on the points table.
