The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has suspended the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 amid cases of COVID-19 in the bio-secure bubble. Ex-Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) captain David Warner posted a card made by his daughter, Ivy, on Tuesday (May 4).
“Please Daddy, come home. We miss you a lot and love you. Love from Ivy, Ind, and Isla", Warner's daughter wrote in the card with a drawing of all of the family members together.

Warner shared the picture on his Instagram account and captioned, "My gorgeous Ivy ❤️❤️❤️ so much love @candywarner1 #family". He also thanked his fans for the support and told them to stay safe in the comments. "Thanks for all the support everyone. Stay safe please ????????", he wrote.
After 29 matches and 24 days, BCCI announced in a statement that the league was being "suspended indefinitely" after an emergency meeting of the IPL's governing council.
The Australian players, support staff, and officials are facing uncertainty over their return home as the Australian government has banned passenger flights from India until May 15.
