IPL 2021: Dale Steyn drops a 'Hi' to Twitter user who pulled his leg after PSL got postponed

Steyn's comment over the comparison between IPL and PSL had gone against him.

Former South Africa cricketer Dale Steyn has replied to a Twitter user after the Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) got suspended because of the bio-bubble breach on Tuesday (May 4). The Twitter user had taken a jibe at Steyn after Pakistan Super League (PSL) was postponed earlier this year because of COVID-19.

Steyn had said PSL is more rewarding when it comes to cricket while saying the IPL has become more about money. His statement was all over social media and it upset the Indian fans.

When PSL got postponed, a verified Twitter user, named Aashish Chandorkar posted a tweet and wrote, "More time at hand for @DaleSteyn62 to figure out which of PSL or IPL is better. Perhaps also accounting for the fact that once started, the IPL managed to finish!".

The 37-year-old had replied to him at that time as well, calling Aashish a funny guy for his stupid comment. But on Tuesday, Steyn dropped a 'Hi' in the same Twitter thread.

The 30th league match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Monday was rescheduled after two players part of one of the squad tested positive for the deadly virus.

But after a total of four players tested positive for COVID-19 within 48 hours, BCCI decided to postpone the IPL 2021 for the safety of players.
