Delhi Capitals (DC) pacer Kagiso Rabada was happy to trouble Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the powerplay as he returned with three scalps to help DC beat PBKS by 7 wickets in the 29th game of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) on Sunday (May 2) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
On Sunday, Punjab Kings’ (PBKS) Mayank Agarwal’s stunning knock of 99* on his captaincy debut went in vain as Shikhar Dhawan’s brilliant fifty and Rabada’s bowling efforts helped Delhi Capitals (DC) to outclass Punjab by 7 wickets with 14 balls to spare at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
With the thrilling win, DC jumped to the top spot in the IPL 2021 points table with 12 points from 8 games while PBKS remain in sixth place with six points.

Following the victory, Rabada said the atmosphere inside the dressing room is great and every member knows that there are no easy games in the ongoing IPL 14.
Rabada told Mayank Agarwal in a video posted on the website of IPL: “The atmosphere is great the moment, it is a young team and we have come of some good performances. There are no easy games in the IPL, even against you guys, it was not an easy game.”
He signed off by saying, “It was great to get that wicket of Gayle, two wickets in the powerplay makes it tough for the batting team. You batted really well, dropped at deep-point, and it turned out to be your day. You whacked me for two sixes.”
