Former India cricketer Virender Sehwag was impressed by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batsman Ambati Rayudu's hitting against Mumbai Indians (MI) on Saturday (May 1). Rayudu was the savior for CSK after they lost momentum in their innings.
The 35-year-old smashed 27-ball 72* runs which included 4 fours and 7 sixes as CSK posted 218/4. Sehwag recalled Rayudu's '3D glasses' tweet after being discarded from India's World Cup 2019 squad.

Sehwag wrote the 3D glasses are working fine as Rayudu was superb with the bat against MI. “72 of 27. Sab ulta hai in 3D mode. The 3D glasses he ordered worked like how. Absolutely brilliant hitting from Rayudu. Chennai Romba Nalla this season. #CSKvMI.”, he tweeted.
The score of 218/4 wasn't enough against Mumbai Indians on a batting-friendly pitch. They chased down the target on the last ball of the match as Kieron Pollard showed why MI is sticking with him in all these seasons.
Pollard was equally good with the bat like Rayudu and he batted with a strike rate of 255.88 to score 87* match-winning runs.
