Rajasthan Royals (RR) overseas star player Jos Buttler is helping out their newly appointed young captain Sanju Samson in the ongoing IPL 2021. Samson is in his first year of captaincy and Buttler is sharing his experience from being the England vice-captain.
In an interview with Sports Today, Buttler talked about passing on valuable inputs to the 26-year-old Samson. He said apart from him, the likes of David Miller and Chris Morris also come up with their experience whenever needed for the youngsters in the side.
"I think, seeing my role at the moment, it is to try and pass on experience. Try and lead from the front in the way I train, in the way I play, that’s really important. Sanju is in his first year of captaincy. So I have done a lot of vice-captaincy work with the England team, so I am trying to help him along the way when he wants something, or if I see anything.

"Try and suggest things. We have lots of really exciting young Indian players. I think it’s really important for myself and the likes of David Miller and Chris Morris as overseas players, we have a lot of experience, to try and assist those guys and try to help them learn, try and pass on skills that we have learned," Buttler told Sports Today.
Rajasthan Royals are currently not in a good spot in the points table. They are at number seven with only 2 wins in 5 matches. The franchise has lost key players like Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer because of injury already.
