Delhi Capitals (DC) lost against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by 1 run in a last-over thriller on Tuesday (April 27). It was a close contest and RCB edged over DC to reach the top of the table with five wins in six matches.

Chasing 172, Rishabh Pant and Shimron Hetmyer were in the middle against Mohammed Siraj for the last over. They needed to get 14 runs but could only manage 12 runs off six deliveries which sealed the match for RCB.

After the defeat, Pant and Hetmyer were disappointed with the result after trying so hard. Kohli and Siraj showed sportsmanship and consoled both the youngsters after the loss.

The official Twitter account of IPL shared the moment with the fans on the micro-blogging site. Kohli was seen having a chat with Pant who failed to finish despite batting till the end with 48-ball 58* runs.

Hetmyer was so disappointed that he didn't move for a minute and had to sit on the ground. He almost changed the game for DC with a 25-ball 53*.

DC are still in the top four and they have good chances of qualifying for the playoffs with 4 wins in 6 matches. Their next game is against Kolkata Knight Riders on April 29.
