Chennai Super Kings (CSK) all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was crushing everything coming in his way against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Sunday (April 25).
Jadeja scored 28-ball 62* runs, which included 37 runs in the last over, and then took 3 wickets for 13 runs along with being involved in a run-out.
India's head coach Ravi Shastri lauded Jadeja for his all-round performance on Twitter. He posted a couple of pictures of Jadeja and said there's a reason why they call him 'Gary Jadeja', after the legendary Sir Garry Sobers' name.
"Not for nothing we call him Gary Jadeja. Sheer brilliance - @imjadeja @ChennaiIPL #IPL2021 #CSKvRCB," he tweeted.
Jadeja responded to Shastri's post and thanked him for the appreciation. "Thanks a lot ravi bhai????????," he replied to the post.
Ravindra Jadeja's magnificent effort has put CSK on top of the points table. They are currently equal in terms of points with Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore, but the big win of 69 runs has boosted their Net Run Rate.
