Rishabh Pant tries to hit a moon ball from Vijay Shankar | TwitterSunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) faced Delhi Capitals (DC) in the 20th match of the IPL 2021 in Chennai and Rishabh Pant won the toss and chose to bat first given the Chepauk pitch’s reputation.

It is a crunch match for both sides, who are coming into this encounter after winning their previous matches. SRH defeated Punjab Kings, while Delhi Capitals downed Mumbai Indians in Chennai itself. DC got off to a flyer as Shikhar Dhawan (28) and Prithvi Shaw (53) added 81 runs in 10 overs.

Then Dhawan and Shaw got out in a span of a couple of overs and SRH found themselves back in the game. However, amidst all the seriousness, Vijay Shankar provided some sort of comedic moment during the 14th over.

On the 3rd ball of that over, Vijay Shankar lost the grip on the ball and it ballooned towards Rishabh Pant, who managed to hit the ball swipe it towards the leg side. The two on-field umpires got into a conversation and eventually a no-ball for height was called and DC got a free hit.

SRH captain seemingly gesticulated to the umpire Vijay had lost control of the ball, but the decision stayed.

Here is the video of the ball:
