Premier League club Manchester City's manager Pep Guardiola is rooting for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2021). He posted a video holding the RCB jersey on Instagram.
Pep wrote that he would be learning cricket rules to follow the sport. He also thanked Virat Kohli for the jersey and told him it's his time to sport the Manchester City's shirt.
"It’s time to finally learn cricket’s rules ????. Thanks to my friend @virat.kohli for the shirt," he wrote while sharing the video. "Now is your turn to use your Man City shirt ???? @pumaindia @pumafootball #PUMAxRCB," he added.

The 50-year-old had an interaction with Kohli during an Instagram live last year. They discussed about matches being played behind closed doors because of the pandemic.
“Without people, it is not the same. It is like a friendly game, it is not the same. We have to do it because the show must go on. We want them to come back.
"It is a completely different game (without fans). You feel like bad moments are less bad moments and good moments are less good moments. Playing behind closed doors is weird,” Pep told Kohli during the Instagram live organized by Puma India.
Currently, Kohli's team RCB is on top of the points table after playing four matches in the IPL 2021. They have won all the matches and are leading with 8 points.
