Virat Kohli put on a show with the bat in Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) resounding 10-wicket victory over Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on Thursday (April 22).
Chasing 178 to win, Kohli smashed 72 not out off 47 balls (6 fours and 3 sixes) while his opening partner Devdutt Padikkal slammed 101* off 52 balls (11 fours and 6 sixes) as RCB overhauled the target with 21 balls to spare.
After completing his fifty, Kohli produced a special celebration. The RCB skipper waved a flying kiss and then gestured a cradle, suggesting that he is dedicating the knock to his newborn daughter Vamika.

During his knock, Virat Kohli also became the first player to score 6000 runs in the Indian Premier League.
It was RCB’s fourth victory in as many games and they are now occupying the top slot in the points table.
