Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli is notorious for losing tosses not only in the IPL but also for the Indian team as well. It has become so bad that when he actually won the toss, Kohli goofed up big time.
This happened during the 16th match of the ongoing IPL 2021 as RCB faced Rajasthan Royals (RR) at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Virat Kohli flicked the coin toss and went back to his spot letting Sanju Samson, the RR captain go up first to talk to presenter Ian Bishop, thinking RR won the toss.
This happened because, Kohli, who has not been winning a lot of tosses recently – believed he had lost it again. Soon, he was informed that RCB had won the toss and Kohli instantly chuckled realizing his mistake.
“I’m not used to winning tosses,” Kohli said.
This was so funny that even the usually serious Ian Bishop cracked up into a smile and barely held his composure to finish the toss interview.
Looking to make the most with the new ball, Kohli lavished praise for the batting unit which has been firing in unison thus far. Kohli decided to bowl first keeping the dew in the second half in mind.
