Delhi Capitals (DC) head coach Ricky Ponting was delighted with the win over Mumbai Indians (MI) on Tuesday (April 20). He took to Twitter to applaud the team effort by his boys.
Ponting knows it takes special effort to defeat a team like Mumbai and Delhi did a great job to restrict their innings to a below-average score of 137/9 and then chase it with 5 balls left and 6 wickets in hand.
"Great team effort last night, happy with how everyone stepped up against such a quality team," wrote Ponting.

Delhi will play Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) next at Chepauk and the head coach wants them to continue the form.
"Important to keep this going against Sunrisers @DelhiCapitals," he added in the tweet.
Amit Mishra and Shikhar Dhawan were the star performers for Delhi Capitals as they ended their 5-match losing streak. Dhawan again was the top scorer with 45 and Mishra picked up four wickets for 24 runs.
