England's cricketer Liam Livingstone has pulled out of the IPL 2021 tournament because of bio-bubble fatigue. Livingstone was part of the Rajasthan Royals (RR) squad for this season.

Rajasthan's official Twitter account posted the news and wrote that they respect Livingstone's decision and will continue to support him.

“Liam Livingstone has flown back home late last night, due to bubble fatigue accumulated over the past year," they wrote.

"We understand and respect his decision, and will continue supporting him in any way we can,” the franchise added in their tweet.

Livingstone had played in the ODI series between India and England, after featuring in the Big Bash League in Australia.

Rajasthan Royals have already lost all-rounder Ben Stokes because of a finger injury. He has returned home for surgery on his fractured index finger.

Before the tournament started, speedster Jofra Archer also had to miss out due to surgery on his hand. It is uncertain whether he will join the franchise in the second half of the season.
