Chennai Super Kings (CSK) defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 45 runs in their IPL 2021 clash on Monday (April 19) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. RR were looking good to chase down the target of 189 with Jos Buttler in the middle.

Buttler scored 49 runs off 35 deliveries before getting out on a beautiful delivery by left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja. Many noticed that it was another MS Dhoni masterclass to anticipate the dry ball to turn on this surface.

Jadeja was smashed for a six in the 10th over of RR's innings and it forced the umpire to get a new ball. Dhoni was heard saying the ball will turn before Jadeja resumed his next over.

The first ball of the 12th over turned out to be the last delivery of Buttler's innings as the ball did grip a bit and shattered the stumps.

Jadeja ended up taking 2 wickets in the match which brought CSK back in the game. His second scalp was Shivam Dube.

Moeen Ali was also effective as the ball started doing a bit for the spinners. He bagged three wickets and the game was done and dusted for Rajasthan.
