Opting to bat Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) found themselves tumbling at 9/2 against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in match 10 of IPL 14 at Chennai.

Coming to bat at No.4 Glenn Maxwell consolidated the RCB innings after a poor start and scored a blistering knock of 78 runs. He was later joined AB de Villiers, who displayed an exceptional show of power-hitting and finished RCB’s innings on high by scoring 34-ball 76*.

The south-African smashed KKR bowlers all over the park in his innings of 76 runs. His innings were laced with 9 boundaries and 3 sixes.

However, after his innings against KKR many fans and pundits want AB de Villiers to make comeback for his national side for the T20 World Cup, which will take place in India later this year.
