Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) bowler Yuzvendra Chahal while talking about his bowling against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in match 10 of IPL 2021 said that it’s an amazing feeling for him to get wickets and bowling well.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) crushed Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by 38 runs to register their consecutive IPL 14 win at Chennai.

Opting to bat RCB had a shaky start to their innings as they lost both Virat Kohli and Rajat Patidar to mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy in the second over of their innings against KKR in an IPL 14 encounter.

However, two foreign stars Glenn Maxwell and AB de Villiers led the rescue charge after a poor start and put on an exceptional display of power-hitting, scoring 78 and 76* respectively that helped RCB post a mammoth total of 204 runs.

Chasing the target, the Eoin Morgan-led side went hard in their chase but kept losing wickets at regular intervals as they failed to achieve the target and registered their second consecutive defeat of the season.

RCB leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal too played a key role in his team’s victory. The 30-year-old removed in-form Nitish Rana for 18 runs as his first wicket of the season and then later trapped Dinesh Karthik in LBW with a googly for two runs.

Addressing his bowling performance, Yuzvendra Chahal said that he felt amazing after getting wickets and bowling well as he looked to bowl dot balls and restrict the batsman. He added that he’ll try his best in Mumbai, where RCB will play their next match.

“Amazing feeling to get wickets and bowling well. I was just trying to get Russell out. I got it wider because the other side was shorter. I mostly looked to bowl dot balls and restrict the batsmen. We will be going to Mumbai. I played a couple of matches here; it had a good turn. I'll try my best in Mumbai,” Yuzvendra Chahal told Star Sports.

The Virat Kohli-led side for the first time in the history of IPL has won their first three matches on the trot and will look to extend their three-match winning streak to four as they face Rajasthan Royals (RR) in their next match on 22nd April at Mumbai.
