IPL 2021: Glenn Maxwell might end up as the Player of the Tournament - Michael Vaughan

Maxwell is in good form as he has a couple of half centuries in three matches.

Glenn Maxwell | BCCI/IPLFormer England skipper Michael Vaughan was so impressed with Glenn Maxwell’s batting in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) that he feels Maxwell might end up winning the Player of the Tournament.

The Australian all-rounder did not have a great IPL last year, but Maxwell is in some form this year and has performed really well for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

The Englishman who loved watching the Australian bat took to Twitter and wrote, “Love watching @Gmaxi_32 Bat .. He might just end up being the player of the tournament .. slightly under the radar in the same team as @imVkohli & @ABdeVilliers17!!! @RCBTweets looking the strongest I have seen them ... #IPL2021

IPL 2021: Glenn Maxwell says his role at RCB is very similar to one in Australia team

While a lot of batsmen have struggled to get going at Chennai this year, Maxwell scored a superb 78 off just 49 deliveries and the partnership along with AB de Villiers who scored an unbeaten 76 got the team out of trouble and took the team to 204 runs in their quota of 20 overs.

RCB who picked Rajat Patidar in place of Daniel Christian is playing with only three overseas players.
