Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni became the first member of the franchise to play 200 matches for them on Friday (April 16). CSK gifted him a win in his memorable game and defeated Punjab Kings (PBKS) by 6 wickets. It was also their first victory of the ongoing IPL 2021.
After the successful match, Dhoni celebrated the milestone with his teammates and support staff. CSK shared the video capturing the moment on their social media account.

Dhoni can be seen cutting the cake and feeding the first slice to the support staff; from coach Stephen Fleming to their manager Russell Radhakrishnan. Suresh Raina also takes a bite from the slice in the end of the footage.

Out of the 200 matches, Dhoni has led CSK in 199 games. He played under the captaincy of Suresh Raina in a Champions League T20 match against Yorkshire.
Overall, the 39-year-old has played 176 matches with CSK in the IPL and 24 in the Champions League T20.
