India captain Virat Kohli went through a rough phase in the recently concluded Test series against England. He couldn't get many runs in the four-match series and had to turn to his friend AB de Villiers for some tips.
After a good outing in the limited-overs series, Kohli had revealed it was the chat with De Villiers which helped him. His Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) teammate talked about their conversation in a video shared by the franchise on Twitter.

The South African said he shared the basics with the India captain after observing his batting for a few months. "I don't want to say. It's embarrassing. I think I mentioned four points. We spoke about couple of things away from the game and then also couple of technical things but it was very basic," he said.
Kohli had scored only 172 runs in four Tests at an average of 28.66. But he came back strong in the T20Is and piled up 231 runs with an average of 115.50.
"I have been wanting to tell him for quite a while, I was watching him for a few months looking like he was quite intense -- at the crease, with his whole game. So, I really wasn't surprised when I saw the message and I knew immediately that all he needs to hear is the basic stuff.
"Four points -- see the ball, still head, allow the ball to come into your space, body language and attitude. And then we sort of elaborated around those four points," added De Villiers.
