Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) co-owner Shahrukh Khan took to his Twitter account and lauded his franchise after they claimed their 100th IPL win.
KKR defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their opening match of IPL 2021 by 10 runs at MA Chidambaram stadium in Chennai to claim their 100th IPL win.
Invited to bat, Eoin Morgan-led side on account of Nitish Rana’s 80, Rahul Tripathi’s 53 runs and unbeaten 22 off 9 balls by Dinesh Karthik posted a mammoth total of 187 runs.

Chasing the target, SRH were in a spot of bother as early strikes from Shakib Al Hasan and Prasidh Krishna saw openers Wriddhiman Saha and David Warner back in the dugout inside 3 overs.
However, a solid 92-runs partnership between Manish Pandey and Jonny Bairstow kept SRH in the hunt but wickets at regular intervals helped KKR to defend the target and clinch the match by 10 runs.
Talking to his official Twitter account KKR’s co-owner Shahrukh Khan praised his team members on their 100th IPL win.
