IPL 2021: WATCH- Shubman Gill’s no-look six off T Natarajan

SRH won the toss and chose to field first.

Shubman Gill smashed Natarajan for a straight no-look six | BCCI/IPL The 3rd match of the IPL 2021 saw Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) clashing in Chennai. David Warner of SRH won the toss and decided to field first.

SRH went in with two proper spinners in Afghanistan pair of Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi, while picking Jonny Bairstow over Kane Williamson. KKR included Harbhajan Singh and Shakib Al Hasan along with Varun Chakravarthy as spinners.

KKR opened with Shubman Gill and Nitish Rana to the surprise of many and Rana got to the job by taking on the bowlers from the start. Gill was subdued at the start but unleashed one of the best-looking shots when T Natarajan came to bowl the fifth over.

He hit a perfect straight-six while not looking at the ball and posed for the cameras. This was a shot of authority and of someone who was in good form with the bat.

Unfortunately, his innings was cut short by Rashid Khan for 15 runs in 13 balls.
