David Waner-led Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are going to face Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to start their IPL 2021 campaign on Sunday (April 11). SRH posted a video ahead of the encounter and skipper Warner said they are ready for the match.

Warner and co had reached the playoffs in the last season after a strong comeback in the second half of the tournament. They are one of the favorites to be in the top four this season as well, considering the venues they will play on.

"Really excited to get out, we had a practice session and the boys are ready to go.... they trained hard and prepared well. Had two good practice games. We are ready to come out and light it up hopefully," Warner said in a video posted by SRH on Twitter.

"We know our supporters through social media and they are extremely supportive, I wish they could come but I know they are supporting us 100 percent and we appreciate their support. Hopefully, we can entertain you by winning some games," he added.

SRH has signed Jason Roy ahead of the tournament after Australia all-rounder Mitchell Marsh pulled out of the tournament. He has arrived in Chennai for the season on Saturday (April 10).
