Delhi Capitals pacer Ishant Sharma missed his team’s IPL 2021 opener against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Mumbai on April 10.

As per the news from DC camp, the lanky pacer had a niggle, which forced him to sit out the opening match after being ruled unfit for selection.

Ishant Sharma was also ruled out of the IPL 2020 after he suffered a left internal oblique muscle tear in his rib cage, which also forced him to miss the entire Australia tour.

The 32-year-old returned for the home Test series against England and played his 100th Test.
