Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni and head coach Stephen Fleming welcomed CSK's new signings by giving them jerseys.
Chennai Super Kings will play their first match of IPL 2021 against Delhi Capitals (DC) at Mumbai on 10th April and will be playing the majority of their matches at the same venue.
MS Dhoni-led franchise will be keen to bounce back in this year's tournament after having a forgettable IPL 2020, where they failed to qualify for the playoffs of the tournament for the first time since the beginning of the league in 2008.

In IPL 2021 auction, the Chennai-based franchise made seven new additions to their team by buying the likes of Moeen Ali, Robin Uthappa (traded from Rajasthan Royals), K Gowtham, Cheteshwar Pujara, C Hari Nishanth, Harishankar Reddy, and K Bhagath Varma to strengthen their squad.

IPL 2021 kicks off on April 9 with defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) takings on Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in Chennai.
