IPL 2021: WATCH- CSK's Deepak Chahar and Cheteshwar Pujara battle in a game of table tennis

CSK will play their first match of IPL 2021 against DC at Mumbai on 10th April.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) pacer Deepak Chahar took to his Instagram handle and posted a video of him playing table tennis with his teammate Cheteshwar Pujara. 

Chennai Super Kings will play their first match of IPL 2021 against Delhi Capitals (DC) at Mumbai on 10th April and will be playing the majority of their matches at the same venue. 

MS Dhoni-led franchise will be keen to bounce back in this year's tournament after having a forgettable IPL 2020, where they failed to qualify for the playoffs of the tournament for the first time since the beginning of the league in 2008.

With only 6 days remaining for CSK’s first match, the players have been sweating hard in nets and enjoying some time off the field as well. 

Pacer Deepak Chahar posted a video on his Instagram handle in which he can be seen playing table tennis with his teammate Cheteshwar Pujara. In the video, Chahar can be seen playing with the cricket bat while Pujara is playing with a table tennis bat.

"Bhaiya yaha bhe defence kuch jayda he strong hai (Brother, you're too strong in defence even here). Couldn't get a single point with bat also," Deepak Chahar captioned the video. 

Deepak Chahar, who has been a part of CSK since 2018, is one of the key bowlers for the franchise and has scalped 45 wickets from 48 IPL matches. 

While Cheteshwar Pujara will feature in IPL for the first time since 2014. India’s No.3 in Test cricket has scored 390 runs from 30 matches in the tournament to go with one half-century.
