Long-time Chennai Super Kings (CSK) coach Stephen Fleming celebrated his 48th birthday on April 1st, 2021. The former New Zealand captain was part of the CSK line-up in the inaugural IPL in 2008 and became their coach after retiring from the game that same year.
Since then, Fleming has been closely associated with the MS Dhoni-led franchise, returning as coach in 2018, when CSK came back from their two-year ban.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) took to social media to share a short video of MS Dhoni and his teammates celebrating coach Stephen Fleming's birthday. In the video, Stephen Fleming could be seen cutting the birthday cake, with the likes of MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina clapping applauding.
"Bonds beyond boundaries! Siripu Enipu and a lot of #Yellove to you Coach @SPFleming7 . #WhistlePodu #SavourTheMoment,” CSK captioned the video.
CSK will play their first match on April 10, when they face Delhi Capitals (DC). They would look to do better than their IPL 2020 performance, where they finished 6th on the points table and for the first time in their IPL history failed to qualify for the playoffs of an IPL edition.
