Rishabh Pant, Sam Billings, and Tom Curran have joined forces for the Delhi Capitals (DC) for IPL 2021 after being opponents during England's tour to India in 2021.
While Pant was already a part of the Capitals, Billings and the older Curran brother were bought by the franchise during IPL 2021 auctions. This is Billings's second time with the Delhi-based franchise in the IPL.
The 2020 IPL finalists would be elated by the fact that their primary wicketkeeper is in prime form for the last four months and he will have with him the likes of Billings in the batting line-up to tonk the bowling attack all over the ground.
While Pant scored 257 runs in the limited-overs series, Sam Billings played just one ODI and got out for 18. Tom Curran played 2 ODIs against India and could manage only a couple of wickets at an average of 73.00 and an economy rate of 7.30.
The official Twitter handle of the Delhi Capitals posted a picture of them joining the team hotel in Mumbai.
They captioned it, "Rivals till yesterday, DC family from today. Send in your messages for
@RishabhPant17, @sambillings and @TC59 as they join the camp for #IPL2021 #YehHaiNayiDilli
