Ace Australian and Kolkata Knight Riders pacer Pat Cummins will be arriving in India for Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 on April 2 as the reports suggested.

Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 is set to begin on 9th April and will be played across 6 cities in India with Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad hosting the playoffs and the final of the tournament. None of the teams will be playing at their home grounds.

However, due to the recent Covid-19 situation in Australia, getting people out of the country has been tough and it’s a big relief for two-time IPL champions Kolkata Knight Riders that lynchpin of their bowling attack Pat Cummins will be arriving in India on April 2 and will undergo mandatory seven-day quarantine.

Talking about the same source in the know of developments said that Pat Cummins, who was bought by KKR last year for a whopping ₹15.5 crore, will be arriving in India on April 2.

"Flight details are still awaited, but he is set to arrive in India late in the evening on April 2. He will then be in quarantine for seven days," The source told ANI.

Eoin Morgan led Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will kick start their campaign on 11th April against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
