Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) captain David Warner expressed his wish to reach yet another IPL Final and is excited to get back to India.

The 14th edition of the IPL will commence in Chennai from April 9 with the defending champions Mumbai Indians taking on Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore. The 38-day event will feature 56 league stage games and four knockout games upto May 23.

Warner has been arguably one of the best foreign cricketers in IPL history and is eager to extend his legacy in the tournament in the 2021 season. The Australian opener is the highest run-getter in IPL among foreign players with 5,254 runs in 142 matches.

Apart from his numbers as a batsman, his leadership at SRH is one of the most important aspects of Warner for the Hyderabad-based franchise.

The 34-year-old led SRH to their only IPL title win in 2016. Just like his fans in India, David Warner is excited to feature in the IPL 2021 season. In his latest Instagram post, Warner has shared an edit of himself in SRH colors.

He captioned the post, “Thanks for these highlights @ha_ve_faith_inme . It would be great to be able to make the finals again, but there is a lot of hard work beforehand to get there. I can’t wait to get back to India for the @iplt20 @sunrisershyd #cricket #india
