Chennai Super Kings’ new recruit C Hari Nishaanth is over the moon at the moment as the youngster is realizing the moment of life after training with his childhood hero and CSK captain MS Dhoni.
The 24-year-old, who was bought for his base price of Rs. 20 lakhs in the IPL 2021 auction, is training with his idol and childhood hero Dhoni at the CSK’s preparatory camp which commenced in Chennai.
He took to Instagram to express his elation of meeting and sharing the dressing room with his childhood hero and legendary Indian cricketer Dhoni after a couple of practice sessions at the camp.
The Ooty-born has shared a picture of him training with Dhoni and described his experience of sharing the dressing room with the legendary wicketkeeper-batsman as a “dream come true”.
The left-handed batsman felt honored to be sharing the dressing room with India’s two-time World Cup-winning captain as the youngster pens his fanboy moment on Instagram.
Nishaanth captioned the post, “Grew up idolizing you and watching you win so many games for CSK & India under tremendous pressure. It’s been an honor to share the dressing room with you and pick up every little thing that you share. Dreams do come true!”

Noteworthy, Nishaanth has so played only 1 first-class, 6 List A and 20 T20 matches having made debut for Tamil Nadu against Madhya Pradesh in 2019. He has scored 327 T20 runs at a strike-rate of 120.18.
