With the announcement of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 schedule, former South Africa skipper AB de Villiers has started to fine-tune his skills.
De Villiers, who has retired from international cricket three years back, will turn up for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the T20 league, slated to begin on April 9 in Chennai.

On Wednesday (March 10), De Villers hit the nets and smashed a fierce shot straight to an iPhone, which was recording the clip from the other end.
Taking to Instagram, De Villers uploaded a video with the caption reading: “Iphone out! @iplt20 prep with Cricket guru @bennie.bester.10 and @krugervanwyk . Thanks manne.”
As the new IPL season is around the corner, all eyes will be on RCB as they roped in New Zealand pacer Kyle Jamieson and Australia’s explosive batsman Glenn Maxwell for a whopping sum of Rs 15 crore and Rs 14.25 crore, respectively, at the auction last month. Other overseas buy made by the franchise was Australian pacer Daniel Christian, who cost them INR 4.8 crore.
Among Indians, RCB fetched Sachin Baby, Mohammed Azharuddeen, Suyash Prabhudesai, Rajat Patidar and Kona Srikar Bharat.
RCB will open their IPL 2021 campaign in the tournament opener against defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI).
