Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 auction gave memers a lot of meme material on Thursday (February 18). From Tamil Nadu batsman Shahrukh Khan to Sachin Tendulkar's son Arjun Tendulkar, they all created a buzz on social media.

The Twitterati put on their creative caps as the IPL 2021 auction was going on at Chennai. Apart from the new names, some expensive buys and familiar faces going unsold gave a boost to the memefest on Twitter.

Australia cricketer Glenn Maxwell was once again sold for a heavy price of Rs. 14.25 crore. This time Royal Challengers Bangalore bought him for the upcoming season.
