IPL 2021: Mumbai Indians call Nagaland's 16-year-old leg spinner Khrievitso Kense for trials

Nagaland Cricket Association honorary secretary Hyunilo Anilo Khing took to his Twitter and confirmed that Mumbai Indians have invited young leg spinner Khrievitso Kense for trials ahead of the upcoming IPL 2021 auction. 

Being one of the teams which conduct trials to select players, five-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians have started their preparations for the next season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) as the franchise is set to organize a two-day trials.

However, with a lot of players expected to attend trials, Mumbai Indians have invited Nagaland’s 16-year-old Khrievitso Kense for bowling trials. The leg-spinner was called up following his promising performance for Nagaland at the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy T20 tournament.

Tentative dates for IPL 2021 revealed, as per reports

Kense made his domestic debut in this season's Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy and represented his state in four games. He scalped 7 wickets at an astonishing economy rate of 5.47.

Nagaland Cricket Association's honorary secretary Hyunilo Anilo Khing took to his Twitter and confirmed about leg spinner being called by Mumbai Indians for trials.

Khing also shared a video compilation of the wickets taken by the youngster in the domestic T20 tournament.
