Just like any IPL playing XI, Moody went with the composition of four overseas and seven Indians cricketers.

Moody opted to go with KXIP’s KL Rahul and DC’s Shikhar Dhawan as his openers. Both of them had a great season with the bat. While Rahul is leading the runs tally with 670 runs from 14 innings, Dhawan is second on the list with 603 runs from 16 innings.

Batting at No. 3 in Tom Moody’s team is MI’s Suryakumar Yadav followed by RCB’s AB de Villiers. Both the batsmen have played impactful knocks throughout the tournament during the middle overs.

Moody went with MI left-hander Ishan Kishan and RR all-rounder Rahul Tewatia as his No.5 and No.6. While Kishan proved his worth with the willow at the top and the middle-order, Tewatia did a great job as a finisher and also with his leg-spin.

Coming to the fast bowling department, Moody selected DC’s Kagiso Rabada, MI’s Jasprit Bumrah and RR’s Jofra Archer. While Rabada is the leading wicket-taker of IPL 2020 with 29 scalps, Bumrah and Archer have claimed 27 and 20 wickets respectively in the tournament.

SRH’s Rashid Khan and RCB’s Yuzvendra Chahal featured in Tom Moody’s team as premier spinners. Both the leggies were outstanding in the cash-rich league, with Chahal taking 21 and Rashid picking 20 wickets.

Tom Moody’s IPL 2020 XI: 1. Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Suryakumar Yadav, AB de Villiers, Ishan Kishan, Rahul Tewatia, Rashid Khan, Jofra Archer, Kagiso Rabada, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah
