Rajasthan Royals' poor form in the Indian Premier League continued as this year also they finished at bottom place in the points table.
Their campaign began with two back-to-back wins including a record 224-run chase and after those two wins, they were looking a good side but couldn't maintain the momentum going forward in the tournament and lost the plot. In the second half of the tournament, they put up some good performances but couldn't do that consistently and eventually finished at the bottom with 6 wins from 14 matches.
When it comes to performances, Jofra Archer was the stand-out performer as the pacer picked up 20 plus wickets was the player from this side who performed consistently. Young pacer Kartik Tyagi also impressed but the likes of Shreyas Gopal, Jaydev Unadkat, and Ankit Rajpoot disappointed a lot.
In the batting Sanju Samson, Steven Smith, Ben Stokes, and Jos Buttler played some good innings but none of them was consistent and it's the main reason behind their poor performance. And all-rounder Rahul Tewatia too showed his potential with bat as well as ball and put up some good performances. And here is a statistical look at Rajasthan Royals' IPL 2020 campaign.
