The Royal Challengers Bangalore ended yet another IPL season without winning the trophy and their fans' wait for the coveted trophy lengthened to another year.
It was the usual season for RCB where they couldn't maintain their consistency long enough and ended up eliminated from the IPL 2020 by the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Eliminator.
AB de Villiers, who is one of the pillars for RCB, performed with the bat and the keeping gloves but couldn't take the team to the title yet again. After being knocked out, he has shared a few pictures of the season gone by and has written a heartfelt message for the fans on Instagram.
IPL 2020: RCB must realize their over-reliance on Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers, says Brian Lara
He wrote, "Looking back at one of the most enjoyable trips ever! We had so much fun together and created memories that will last forever. We really appreciate everyone who supported @royalchallengersbangalore all the way. @iplt20 growing stronger and better every year"
The RCB fans will be raising their slogan "Ee saala cup naamde" in IPL 2021 when the tournament takes place, likely in April.
