Mumbai Indians (MI) became the first team to qualify for the IPL 2020 final after winning Qualifier 1 against Delhi Capitals (DC) on Thursday, November 5. They sealed an easy victory after restricting DC on 143/8 in 20 overs.

DC were chasing 201 but had no answer to MI's early assault with the ball. Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult almost ended their chances to chase down the target inside the powerplay.

They lost four wickets on just 20 runs and after that, there was no opportunity to make a comeback, which resulted in MI's 57 runs win.

After securing the victory, MI cricketers showed excitement for the final in their social media posts. Jasprit Bumrah posted a picture with the Man of the Match trophy for 4/14 against Delhi. "Grateful & ready for the final!", he wrote.
