Mumbai Indians' all-rounder Hardik Pandya talked about the journey of his team in IPL 2020. He said the team has performed really well till now, finishing at number one position after the league stage.

MI are slow starters, as Hardik admitted, but this time they were among the favorites to finish in the top four from the first half. Now, they will have to beat Delhi Capitals (DC) in qualifier 1 to reach the final. MI will get another opportunity to reach the finals if they lose to DC.

"The boys have played fantastically, can't ask for more. We've been kind of slow starters always but touchwood this year has been a good ride so far. Working on my batting, and things are coming pretty well. It's a matter of opportunity and it's about what the team requires when I go to bat," Hardik said in a video posted by Mumbai Indians.

"So far it's looking good and I am just happy that we all are able to contribute in a way that everyone is chipping in at the right time. We're getting the desired results as well. Now the crunch-time comes, the best leg of the league, and hopefully, we can get the cup," he added.
